Gabrielle de Grandmont
Mezzo Soprano

Biography

Gabrielle de Grandmont is a French-Canadian mezzo-soprano from Ottawa, Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Music, Artist Diploma, and Masters of Music from Western University. This season marks her debut with Toronto Operetta Theatre as ‘Charlotte’ in Offenbach’s La Grande Duchesse de Gérolstein.

Gabrielle’s repertoire includes works from the Baroque era through the 20th century, among them: ‘Nerone’ in L’incoronazione di Poppea (Theater im Delphi, Berlin) ‘Florence Pike’ in Albert Herring, ‘Oberto’ in Alcina, and ‘La Ciesca’ in Gianni Schicchi (Opera at Western, London), ‘Cherubino’ in Le Nozze di Figaro (Theater Het Lichtruim, Bilthoven) and ‘La Badessa’ in Suor Angelica (Alte Münze, Berlin).
